Hello World! I am a hacker and security enthusiast. I really like it to participate in penetration tests and "capture the flags". In 2014 I was one of the finalists who represented Germany at the "European Cyber Security Challenge" where we got the second place. In 2015 I also qualified for the finals of the "Cyber Security Challenge Germany" and prevailed against over 800 other hackers. Additionally from time to time I do some "live hacking" presentations (e.g.: CeBIT 2015 in Hannover (Germany)). My main focuses in information security are WLAN, malware stuff and web application pentesting. Since october 2015 I work as a "Security Analyst" for a medium sized company. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or suggestions!
IT-Security is a big challenge we have these days. More and more devices get connected to the internet, so the attack surface gets bigger. That is one of the reasons that driven me to align my study and free time to information security. I just try to make the world a little bit more secure.
A Live-Hacking is a demonstration of a conrete hacker technique in front of a technical or non-technical audience. So far I have done several Live-Hacks on events of different organisations and really liked it: "Lange Nacht der Wissenschaften" 2013/2014, Oracle Security Day 2015, "Teilnehmertag der Allianz für Cybersicherheit" 2015 and CeBIT 2015 Hannover (Germany)
Penetration Testing is the professional term for hacking in the security industry. So it is a good tool when you try to analyze a system for its current security. During my studies I did several penetration tests as a volunteer for Radically Open Security (a dutch security company) and gained good knowledge in this topic.
